Macarena Mata has worked professionally in the conflict resolution field since 2006. She is an accredited mediator, facilitator and trainer in conflict resolution and self-awareness, specialising in family and workplace contexts. She is also a Professional Practice Consultant as well as a conflict coach. She has lectured on conflict theory and reflective practice at the PgCert and MSc courses at Birkbeck College, and is a contributor to Mediators Beyond Borders International where she is faculty member of the International Peace Training Institute. Macarena is a partner at Ataraxy Family Mediation, delivering FMC approved mediation courses.
Jan Coulton is a recognised name in the field of mediation and is an experienced trainer, delivering training approved by the Family Mediation Council. It is her extensive knowledge of the subject that has gained her invitations to lecture and present at conferences worldwide. She also writes and delivers bespoke training courses and provides Professional Practice Consultancy (PPC) to professional mediators who are accredited or working towards accreditation. Nationally recognised for her 30 years of work in family mediation, Jan has received the National Mediation Awards two years running. She has a solid legal background, having qualified as a solicitor in 1980. Jan is a partner at Ataraxy Family Mediation, delivering FMC approved mediation courses.
Jill Redshaw has 20 years’ post-qualification experience as a family mediator. She has worked with a number of mediation services in North London, Essex and Berkshire and in her own private practice. Jill is a Child Inclusive Mediator and has been a Professional Practice Consultant since 2012, supervising both experienced and newly-trained mediators who are working towards accreditation. Jill is a trainer, coach and assessor in the FMC approved Family Mediation Foundation Training course at Ataraxy Family Mediation.
