Accredited Family Mediator Vacancy: Peterborough, Loughborough, Bedford and Milton Keynes

Family Law Group Ltd is an established legal practice specialising in all areas of family law. An opportunity has arisen for an experienced and accredited Family Mediator to join our team. This is a specialist role within our Mediation Department and it is expected that the successful candidate will be able to conduct Legal Aid and private mediation in both children and financial mediation cases. Family Mediation Vacancy: Norfolk Family Mediation Service

Following year on year growth Norfolk Family Mediation is looking to expand its pool of Family Mediators. As one of the oldest family mediation charities in the UK, we pride ourselves on striving to support families across Norfolk who are going through separation or divorce. Our service is run from our head office in Norwich with outreach delivery in Great Yarmouth and Kings Lynn. We are seeking mediators who are accredited and who can either dedicate a few days a month or who would like to form part of our core delivery team. Please see here for more information.


Jane Knight Scholarship

In memory of Jane Knight (FMCA) who sadly died earlier this year, Yorkshire based mediation firm, Family Matters Mediation, will be launching the Jane Knight Memorial Mediation Scholarship in September 2019. The annual scholarship is open to those who have completed mediation foundation training and are looking to move onto the next step of mediation experience and supervision.  Family Matters will provide all the casework necessary to prepare the portfolio required to become an accredited mediator with the Family Mediation Council and fund half of the cost of the ten-hour supervision necessary to prepare the portfolio.  Family Matters’ trained professional practice consultants will also read the portfolio and provide vital feedback before it is submitted. CAFCASS Board Member Vacancies: London UK

CAFCASS is looking to add three new board members to add good governance across the organisation. They are looking for people who have an understanding, or willingness to learn the workings of the family justice system and children’s services plus the capacity to promote better outcomes for children. Knowledge of effective corporate governance plus an eagerness to work as a team player and act as an ambassador for the organisation is desirable. Please see here for more information. Trainee Mediator Opportunity

Family Mediation Centre Staffordshire are a well-established, independent Mediation Service holding a LAA Contract, based in Stafford, but with outposts throughout the Midlands [from Birmingham to Crewe and from Derby to Shrewsbury].

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed trainee Mediator who has completed Foundation Training, but yet to submit their Portfolio for FMC Accreditation.  The appointed mediator will need to be from the Staffordshire or surrounding area and willing to travel to a number of our outposts and hold a clean driving licence.

We could offer working alongside accredited and experienced Mediators on a sessional basis with the objective of achieving Accreditation within a realistic timescale and with a view to then joining our team of Sessional Mediators.
