The FMC currently approves:
- Family mediation foundation training courses; and
- Child-Inclusive Mediation training courses
Please note that the FMC is currently reviewing costs, appointing training course reviewers and will be reviewing the course approval guidance to time frames for the course approval process. Please therefore contact operations@familymediationcouncil.org.uk if you are considering making an application for course approval so that the latest information can be shared with you once available.
Apply for a foundation training course to be approved
To apply for a family mediation foundation training course to be approved, providers need to complete the Course Approval Application form and send it, with relevant attachments, to operations@familymediationcouncil.org.uk and pay the application fee. Apply for a child-inclusive mediation training course to be approved
To apply for a child-inclusive mediation training course to be approved, providers need to complete the CIM Course Approval Application Form and send it, with relevant attachments, to operations@familymediationcouncil.org.uk and pay the application fee. Guidance on completing the form is contained within the form itself, though when developing courses and completing the application training providers should carefully consider the Standards Framework changes for Child-Inclusive Mediation.
